Free Format Notes - Amigo! is an easy to use, Free Form Information Manager. Information is stored and managed as a "Note", and a Note may be as simple as a single word or contain many pages of information. The format of a Note is defined by the user and the formats may be changed at will. There is no system imposed "data base" type layout. Store information the way you want to use it!

Internet Bookmarks and e-mail - Any Note may contain multiple bookmark links (URL's) and e-mail addresses as well as comments or other data as desired. The links are automatically recognized by Amigo! wherever they appear. Use Internet and URL information anywhere you wish.

Direct Browser Link - Amigo! communicates directly with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator/Communicator, and Opera. Bookmarks may imported from any or all of the browsers into Amigo! Amigo! is also an extremely powerful Bookmark Manager.... more powerful than most programs designed for that purpose.

Windows Explorer Style Interface - "Notes" are organized into Folders and Files in an Explorer style interface. All outline functions (like Drag and Drop) are supported. The familiar interface minimizes your learning time.

Full Text Search - Find any Note (e.g. a Bookmark) rapidly and easily with Amigo!'s rapid full text search. Store all of your Notes knowing that you can easily find them when you need them.

Eliminate Repetitive Typing - The "PDQ" function in Amigo! expands user defined short forms on the fly (e.g. "ht." expanded to "http://www."). This may also be used to correct common errors (e.g., define "teh" to be expanded to "the"). Speed your work and improve your accuracy at the same time.

Exchange "Notes" with other Amigo! users - A Note, a folder of Notes, or an entire File of Notes may be easily sent to another user (say via e-mail) as an Amigo! Interchange file. The entire structure of the File and Folders is preserved for the interchange. Easily share information with friends and co-workers.

Export "Notes" to standard formats - A Note or Folder of Notes may be easily exported as an HTML or as a Text file. Amigo! easily co-exists with your favorite utilities.

Download File Management - You may download files directly with Amigo! while making a Note regarding the downloaded file. When the download is complete, the Note is automatically updated with the download information. You do not need a separate utility to manage your downloads.

File Drag/Drop - You may drag & drop a file, or a URL onto the Amigo! window to create a Note. If the file contains text information, the contents of the file may also be copied automatically into the Note. Use Amigo! to manage information about the files stored on your computer.

Phone Dialer - Phone numbers within Notes are treated a hyperlinks, wherever they occur. A click on a phone number will allow you to dial the phone via your modem. Utilize the information you have, simply and easily.

Delimited Text Files - A wizard function allows you to import data from delimited files directly into Amigo!. In addition, the text file output will create comma delimited text files. It is very easy to utilize Amigo! with other utilities.

The Amigo! Link - The Amigo! Link an interface with browsers and other utilities, provides automatic Note creation from many sources. With the Amigo! Link, a Note is only a click away.

Reminders & Alarms - Notes may be assigned a reminder date and (optionally) a reminder time. Each reminder has an optional user assigned icon to make it easier to see at a glance.

Date Search - Search for a Note by the Date Created, Date Modified or Alarm Date.

Calendar - A Calendar, showing the next 2 to 6 months (user configurable), will also highlight dates with Notes which have one or more reminders.

Deleted Items File - Deleted Notes go to a "recycle bin" type file. You may recover Notes or Folders until you finally delete them from the trash file.

Scanner Interface - Scan documents from any twain compatible scanner and automatically record index Notes in Amigo!.

Amigo! Link -
- The Amigo! Link has been redesigned. It now supports enhanced Bookmarking functions and a clipboard capture cache. In addition, there is a new version of the Link which may be used to record Notes when Amigo! is not running.
