OutBack Plus ~ Features and Specifications
OutBack Plus (OBP) is a comprehensive but very flexible tool for saving Outlook data. The program functions though a wizard driven interface which is designed to be used effectively by a novice as well as an IT professional.

- Advanced Restore Functionality - OutBack Plus gives you full control over the restore of Outlook data through four restore functions:
Θ "Full profile restore" - to restore all of the Outlook profile data and settings from the backup to replace an existing or a new profile. This is the default restore function.
Θ "Selected item restore" - to restore selected Outlook profile items and/or settings.
Θ "Search" restore function - to restore Personal Folder data to search for data in an old Personal Folder -- without affecting the existing Personal Folders.
Θ "Import" restore function - to restore Personal Folder data for import into an existing Personal Folder (allowing a merge of data folders). - Support for multiple Outlook profiles

Θ A repeat of the backup job without using the OBP Backup Wizard. - Unicode Support - OBP8 fully supports the save and restore files with unicode file names.
OutBack Plus Specifications:
- Outlook compatibility - OutBack Plus works with all current versions of Outlook - including Outlook 2010, 2007, 2003, 2002 (XP), and 2000.
- Windows compatibility - OBP operates on Windows 7, Windows Vista, XP, Media Center, 2003, Windows 2000, Windows ME. Both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows are supported.
- Compressed backup files - Backup your Outlook Personal Folders (.pst files) and other data in a compressed, zip compatible, archive.
- Unlimited backup size - OBP fully supports the unlimited file sizes of Outlook 2003/2007/2010. OutBack Plus will also split the backup into multiple 'chunks' so that the backup will fit onto smaller media.
- Backup verification - All backup files are fully verified to ensure the integrity of the data.
- Encryption - OBP includes full 256 bit AES encryption to protect the confidentiality of the data.
- Backup and restore logs - All actions are logged to confirm actions and assist with any support that may be required.
